Congrats to Tom and Pete on advancing to the Championship Game. Pete's first and Tom's second. two best teams definitely made it. We will have another first time champ, and our 6th different champion in 6 years. Now that's competitive balance.

D.J., I propose we let Pete keep the $25 3rd place prize, and have him put it on a roulette number for us at New Year's, and split the winnings. Sound good?

Looking at Tom's matchups next week, I'm scared. Very scared.

Just FTR, I'll need 350 and 4TDs from Campbell, and a combined 180 and 4 TDs from Steve Smith NYG and Fred Davis.

Here's hoping for a good old fashioned shootout tonight! In lieu of that, good work Tom.

Everyone needs to go on there and bitch about their servers during draft day.

I found this image, which I took on draft day out of frustration after Yahoo! had drafted Ray Rice and Big Ben for me.

From Yahoo:

Please note the NFL changed its ruling of Kurt Warner's week 15 touchdown pass to Anquan Boldin to a lateral, making it a rushing play. Stats related to this play have been updated to reflect this change.

Make that -6 or -4 points for Warner owners last week. Fortunately, I won my semifinal game by more than 6 points in my other league, as did Pete in ours, but I have a feeling that there were more than a few Warner owners that just got a big fat kick in the nuts for Christmas. "Yeah, you know that championship game you were looking forward to playing in? Not so much!!" Ouch.

6 Touchdowns for San Diego tonight, and Tom got only 1 score and some extra points out of it. A Christmas miracle that I'm still in it? (thank you CJ!)

I quit watching the game in the third quarter when Sproles started going off. I was so pissed off. It was just as frustrating as watching the f'ing saints.
A study will be published proving that the moral decay of America's children can be directly tied to the lack of cartoons in which humans and talking animals combine to solve crimes.

Congratulations to Tom on the championship victory, it was a very close game up until the SF drive that included a 48-hard Gore reception and subsequent touchdown. Clearly, Tom was very deserving of this win, having had an amazing draft and making all the right moves during the season (Charles, Gates, etc). Also, congrats to Paul on the third place finish. After a series of horrific trades, it's a testament to his skill as a manager that he was able to remain in contention, and pull off the surprising third place victory.

MOTY voting is here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3610 and will run for one week, and the championship monies will be sent out via Paypal this week. Third place monies will be used on Roulette at Turtle Lake this weekend, on a number of Paul's choice.

Thanks everyone for the great season, we'll be doing it again next year for sure.
